Awarded first place of Prix Photo Terre Solidaire

I have no words to explain how happy I am to have won the first prize at the Prix Photo Terre Solidaire and to have received it directly from the hands of Sebastiao Salgado in Paris. I am happy that this award can shed light on the difficult situation in the Peruvian Andes at this historic moment for the country. Congratulations to the other two winning photographers Anush Babajanyan and Emily Garthwaite. Thanks to this award/grant from NGO Terre Solidaire, I will be able to continue working for another year on my long-term project and then this will be exhibited at the La Gacilly festival in 2024. I dedicate this award to all the people I met on this 6-year journey and who had their stories told during this time. Thanks also to Vidal Merma and Sarah Leen, key people for this project.
